We've been given the green light by our venue to proceed with our wedding! We're so excited to be able to celebrate with our friends and family in May, and not have to come back and do our reception in 2022. California has the lowest rate of Covid infections in the continental United States. The Department of Health has released guidelines on how to host a private event safely, and we will be following those guidelines closely. The event will be an indoor/outdoor hybrid utilizing all spaces of the venue. The wedding will be held at The Event Center of Agoura Hills 29900 Ladyface Court, Agoura Hills, CA 91301

As outlined by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, everybody in attendance must RSVP and must show a government ID and proof of full vaccination. Full vaccination is defined as two weeks after the second dose of Pfizer or Moderna or two weeks after a single dose of Johnson & Johnson. If not vaccinated, attendees may show a negative COVID test. If taking a PCR test, the results should be within 72 hours. If taking a rapid antigen test, the results should be within 24 hours.

Matt was training for the Hollywood Half Marathon with Alpha Running group in Griffith Park. Christine joined the group to train for the San Diego Rock n Roll Marathon. Their paths crossed...literally. Christine asked their mutual friend Abby for Matt's phone number and texted him. They became friends...and the rest is history.

Matt and Christine were on vacation in Europe and visited Disneyland Paris (of course). Matt found a quiet little area in front of Sleeping Beauty's castle and said he wanted to take some pictures (believable). During the pictures, he got down on one knee and asked Christine to live happily every after with him. She said yes.
