We postponed the large ceremony and reception and said our vows in the midst of our siblings and parents on June 6, 2020. We're now in the midst of planning a vow renewal for June 5, 2021. We have talked to Spirit Mountain and will be following all mandates. As of now (March 2021) that means 50% capacity indoors and unlimited capacity outdoors as long as distancing requirements and mask mandates are met.
No. We are not requiring negative covid tests or vaccinations in order to attend (outside of whatever the state/city/venue requires). We trust that our guests are doing what they belive is the best for them and their families. As of now (March 2021) we know that we will be vaccinated by June as well as most of our immediate family and friends. We believe that by early June anyone who wants to be vaccinated will be.
Because we can. We didn't want to have the wedding in Iowa. Fargo and Alexandria were options early on. Duluth was thrown out kind of jokingly early in the planning and it stuck. With all of the options we were looking at we'd have to travel anyways. So, we picked the prettiest option.
No. However, this is Duluth in early summer. Weather permitting it will be an outdoor ceremony so we recommend being prepared for a chill.
Yes please. We understand that everyone will have to travel to be with us. For that reason, we've allotted extra space and food for those you may wish to travel with. That being said, please be respectful of the plus one limit stated on your RSVP card.
Supper will be a pasta buffet with noodles, sauce, chicken and beef. There will also be sides of green beans, salad, and garlic bread.
Yes. Please note it during the online RSVP process or on the back of your RSVP card.
Yes, please see the travel section of this website. We do not have room blocks reserved this time around because I figure you're all adults and they were more stress for me than they were worth.
