The night they met Matt went in to see if his school Ag boosters needed any help with their Bingo and bean dinner. As soon as he he sat down at the microphone, and spoke Amanda was hooked. Their friends plotted for the two of them to meet, but it wasn't until the end of the night that Amanda had gained enough courage to pass her number to the smooth talking Bingo announcer. It took Matt until the next day to finally text Amanda and then BINGO we had a winner.

After just a few months of dating Matt decided that he was ready to take the plunge again and ask his beautiful girlfriend to marry him. Having been married before and afraid of rejection, he wanted to plan and make sure everything was perfect. Amanda and Matt had spoken of marriage before and talked about the future, but the tall teacher/DJ was still nervous of the day. So he and his best friend, Amy, planned it all out, they would use "couples photos" as the Trojan Horse and then when the timing was right he would pop the question. Matt and Amanda went to three different beautiful locations and then while standing on the lake shore and with the sunsetting in the background the time had come. The beautiful couple embraced for a final photo as boyfriend and girlfriend, and behind the unsuspecting girl's back, the sly boyfriend opened the ring box and dropped to one knee and finally asked the four words that every girl wants to hear "Will you marry me?".
