Ouray Hot Springs Pool and Fitness Center

good sledding hill, 5 minutes past Black Canyon turnoff

Cerro Summit

They will give you free snowshoes and spectacular views!  About 45 minutes from Matt's house.

Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park

Telluride Ski Resort

They will rent you Cross-country skis if you're interested in getting out.  Good places to ski around the area include Ironton past Ouray, the Grand Mesa, and various trails in Ridgway.
