We want you to look great and feel great for this special event, especially when busting a move on the dancefloor, which we expect. The dress code is dressy casual. We suggest button-down shirts, khaki/lightweight slacks, sundresses or lightweight separates. Dressy flats or comfortable heels are welcome, and jackets and ties are optional. Minnesota weather in March is unpredictable, there may or may not be snow. The Big Party is entirely indoors, however if packing for the weekend, we recommend bringing layers.
One of the two bathrooms on site will be reserved for parents and babies. It’s a small but private space to breastfeed, pump, change diapers and store diaper bags. There is also a fridge in the small prep kitchen that can be used to store milk, please label appropriately though.
We will have an assortment of meat, vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options catered by World Street Kitchen — a favorite restaurant of ours. -Vietnamese lemongrass meatballs with marinated cucumber salad (Gluten Free; Allergens: Fish) -Korean “BBQ” beef croquettes with kimchi, rice, cheese, served with gochujang mayo (Allergens: Milk, Fish, Sesame) -Moroccan Roasted Vegetables (Vegan, Gluten Free) -Chermoula cream sauce (Allergens: Milk) -Guacamole and tortilla chips: Smashed avocados, sesame oil, roasted garlic, shelled edamame (Vegan, Gluten Free; Allergens: Sesame) -Babas “Traditional” Hummus (Vegan, Gluten Free) -Babas Pita Puffs (Vegan)
Of course, just know we'll be using this time to catch up with our travelling guests.
Yes, kids are absolutely welcome, especially for our travelling guests as we'll be having family-friendly activities throughout the weekend. The party itself is 6-11pm so not the most ideal time for some kiddos. Everything is flexible, come for a bit and dip out for bedtime if necessary. Of note, there are no highchairs at the venue.
