A large bar with plentiful parking and fun for the kids and kids-at-heart. Pinball machines, duckpin bowling, life size jenga - one of THOSE bars. It will be fun, we promise.
A Cincinnati favorite. If you find yourself wanting to grab a bite, stop here for a few cheese coneys and a three way. Make sure you eat at least one oyster cracker with hot sauce and end with a York Peppermint Patty. Yum...taste's like Alex's childhood.
Our favorite tacos in Columbus. Conveniently located near the hotel. Get the El Santo. Thank us later.
A bit out of the way but definitely worth the trek. If you're a book lover or simply want to kill some time seeing a Columbus gem, the Book Loft is your ticket. Nestled into pre-Civil War era buildings that once were general stores, a saloon, and a nickelodeon cinema, the Book Loft is now home to 32 rooms of Bargain Books. Protip - if you go to the Book Loft, you should also make a visit to the Golden Hobby Shop and Stauf's, located adjacent and across the street, respectively, from the Book Loft.
If you're looking for a sweet treat, Jeni's is a Columbus specialty artisan ice cream company with unique flavors. Follow the aroma into Jeni's and sample any of their unique flavors. We recommend Brambleberry Crisp, Boston Cream Pie, Milkiest Chocolate, and Gooey Buttercake.
This is a cute local coffee shop that would be a nice place to stop in between. If you go here, I'd highly recommend going to Elm & Iron just a block south from Global Gallery to kill time, stock up on some adorable home furnishings, or pick up a few late Christmas gifts.
If you're in town Satuurday morning and need a brunch spot, look no further. This is the much larger sister store of the original, cramped Katalina's in Victorian Village, home of the famous pancake balls. Did I mention the sweet & spicy bacon? You're welcome.
