- Hike a sand dune at Grande Mere State Park or Warren Dunes
- Walk or bike the Kal-Haven Trail or Whirlpool trail (starts at the Whirlpool Corporation Headquarters)
- Whiskey tasting at Journeyman Distillery (25mins south)
- Drive 30mins north to visit South Haven for more beaches and restaurants (highly recommend Three Blondes Brewery, Taste & New Holland Distilling)
- Drive 30mins south to visit New Buffalo for more great restaurants, cocktail bars and casino (highly recommend Brewsters, Terrace Room & Hummingbird Lounge)
