Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

No. We don’t suggest renting a car as there will be transportation provided to & from the wedding events on Saturday. The hotels are all centrally located to Friday night events as well. If transportation is needed in downtown Charlottesville, Uber & Lyft are reliable services.

What’s a good spot for Friday night dinner?

Answer

These restaurants are all walking distance to the welcome party: Oakheart Social (farm to table, great cocktails — our favorite) Public Fish & Oyster (seafood — another favorite) Smyrna (Mediterranean) The Alley Light (French) Zocalo (Italian) These require a quick uber but are worth it: Mas Tapas (Spanish) Lampo (wood fired Neapolitan pizza) The Local (farm to table) Tavola (Italian) Southern Crescent (Cajun)

What is the dress code?

Answer

Since we’re always operating high/low, we can’t wait to see everyone dressed up out in the country. Dress code is black tie. Please keep in mind that terrain includes grass and brick.

Answer

To ensure we can accommodate all our beloved guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation are included. Thank you for understanding!
