Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Welcome Reception: Smart Casual Wedding: Black Tie Optional Farewell Coffee: Casual The welcome reception & ceremony are on a grass/dirt area, and the wedding reception is on a wooded deck surrounded by grass/dirt. While the deck is a new build, it does have gaps in the spacing of the wood (stilettos will get stuck).

Question

Can I bring kids?

Answer

As much as we love your kiddos, we ask that you come for a date night/weekend & leave them at home with the sitter. <3

Question

Are the events indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All events are outdoors. The welcome reception & wedding reception area will have some cover & standalone heaters provided.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Since we will be at about 5500 ft. of elevation, spring weather during the day should be quite pleasant with a possible high of 70 F. The evenings will be chilly & can get as low as 50 F. There still is a chance for snow around May; we suggest checking the weather prior to the event.

Question

Are there restaurants in the area?

One of the things we love about Palomar is how secluded & free of crowds it is. We are providing light apps & drinks Friday night, dinner Saturday night & light breakfast bites on Sunday morning. For all other meals, there are partial to full kitchen amenities available for each on-site accommodation. Bailey's also has an general store on-site. Palomar Mountain has a local general store for provisions: https://www.palomarmountainstore.com/ Mon- Fri: 11am - 5pm Sat - Sun: 9m - 5pm

Please go to the "Travel" tab where you will find the link to book; they are first come first serve. (The "Travel" tab also has other options on the mountain near the venue.)

Question

Can we bring our own fire wood for the firepits?

Answer

Please do not bring firewood up the mountain. Each on-site lodging has one bundle of firewood included with their accommodation & more are available for purchase at the on-site general store. Weather permitting, campfires in your lodging’s firepit are happily encouraged. Our only request is that you do so safely, and follow local restrictions on firewood. Where do I send mail to the Bride and Groom?

We are adding this on here because we moved! The address on the invitations is incorrect and we currently live at 511 Smilax Rd. Vista CA 92081.

Question

Should I bring bug spray and allergy meds?

Answer

Spring is in FULL swing up at Bailey's. There are currently little gnats that hang out in the grass area, however they do not bite, they are more just annoying to be around. Mosquitos are very unpredictable but with the weather warming up, there is a possibility for them. It is highly recommend to bring bug spray and any allergy meds if you have spring-time allergies. The flowers and pollens are in full bloom right now.

Question

Fresh mountain spring water?

Answer

Palomar Mountain spring water runs through all of the taps at Baileys, is completely safe to drink and absolutely delicious. Enjoy! ❤️
