Her Story: Growing up I was so shy and nervous around people. I was never the first person to strike up a conversation and pretty much kept to myself. We had just auditioned for a production in our theatre department. I would never have introduced myself to someone I didn't know, but I could SWEAR that I had met Matt before; in a class, after a show, with friends, something-- surely. I felt like I had known him before that moment. His Story: I had auditioned for the production at our middle school. I didn't know anyone and was unsure of how to strike up a conversation. I was waiting for the process to start when a really pretty girl I did not know walked up to me and started making me feel at home. She made me feel comfortable and I started to get excited about being there; I could anticipate the fun we were going to have. And there, the story begins. Their Story: After many times asking her to go on a date, Julie finally agreed to go to the homecoming dance with Matt. She had waited for him to enroll at her high school and was so overjoyed when he asked her. He was planning to ask her during a football game, but she never made it (she couldn't drive yet-typical sophomore). Instead he messaged her to go to the dance, to which she clarified that she did not want to go as "just friends". They were no longer "just friends".
