Matron of Honor
Nat has been Lizzy's sounding board since they met freshman year of college at UCSD in 2004. What started as a friendship based on silly dance moves has developed into deep conversations on long runs. Nat has always been there with an ear to listen, an array of great advice, and the constant act of putting Lizzy before herself. She is truly one of the most spectacular people around. Lizzy feels honored to have such a loyal and caring friend always by her side. Lizzy can't wait to dance the night away and knows that Nat will always be ready to bust a move!
Best Man
Brett and Matt have been buddies since before Little League. Brett came over to Matt's house every day in the summer to hang out. Their families have been second homes to each of them. Matt thinks of Brett as a brother. Brett has been there since the early days of Little League to Matt's stint in Washington. Brett is the one who always checks in on Matt, and Matt looks forward to having him stand next to him on this big day.
Bridesmaid
Fins up! Barr has taught Lizzy so many things and been there for so many adventures that the pictures were hard to choose between. Starting by working a grill during a Thurgood Marshall event and deepening through Orientation Leaders, Buffett Concerts, Emily is truly Lizzy's other half. Being the most organized person around, Lizzy loves that Emily always has her back, especially when she misplaces things. Lizzy thanks Barr for always being her other half!
Groomsman
Brian "Putz" LaPutka and Matt met through baseball when Zach beamed Brian at a game. From that initial hit by the pitch, their friendship was forged. Matt and Brian were both only children and their friendship was strengthened on that. Their mom's also became great friends. Throughout high school and college, Brian was always there for Matt and is sure to keep their group text messages going.
Bridesmaid
Elizabeth met Robyn in 6th grade at First Avenue Middle School in Arcadia California. After having a hilarious conversation in Home Economics class, Robyn and Lizzy were bonded for life. Robyn has been there for Lizzy during some of the most challenging times of Lizzy's life. No one understand the most ridiculous references Lizzy makes like Robyn; "Do you bite your thumb at me sir?", "Did you know...!", and a never ending supply of Friends references. Although she lives far away in North Carolina, nothing changes between Lizzy and Robyn as the years move on. They will always be two hopeless romantic 13 year old girls!
Groomsman
Matt and Alex met at San Diego State University through Brian. They became good friends working together at Quest Drape. After many Bass Lake and Vegas trips, the two had countless memories to share, and some memories they don't even remember. Some how they are still friends, even though Alex likes those awful Bay Area Teams.
Bridesmaid
Foul Ball! Kristen and Elizabeth's friendship started before they even knew each other. In T-ball Kristen's mom, Karen, and Elizabeth's dad, Tom, would yell across the field jokes and friendly banter. In 6th grade, Kristen helped Elizabeth make many of her closest friends. Kristen's positive energy and endless love is something Lizzy can not imagine her life without. Kristen and Lizzy have early softball memories of the Busch Wackers and more recent amazing times in singing karaoke in San Diego, dancing in Laguna Beach, and strolling through Pasadena. Lizzy loves Kristen's die hard loyalty and heart of gold! She is the “Shorty” to Lizzy’s “Net”.
Groomsman
Zack, the man of many words, met Matt while playing on the Rockies in Little League. Growing up Matt loved playing a short game of golf at Zack's house. Zack's and his family were close to each other. Matt and Zack's love for baseball is evident from the early years of their friendship. Zack's ability to have an endless conversation melds well with Matt's more somber demeanor. Thanks Zack for always having a great story to tell!
Bridesmaid
Marissa and Lizzy met freshman year of college at UCSD in P Building. One of Lizzy's favorite memories of their first year of friendship was at a dorm dance. Marissa came decked out as Quailman. Lizzy knew in that moment they were going to be friends forever. Marissa is dedicated to all she does. Marissa's heart of gold is unmatched. Throughout the years their friendship has grown immensely. Marissa loves with her entire self. She is beyond caring and always supports Lizzy in all she does. Lizzy loves that during her recent trip to Denver Matt got to bond with Marissa over their mutual love for video games!
Groomsman
Chris and Matt met after high school, even though they went to the same school. Matt was playing baseball at Mesa, and Cairo came over to their house with mutual friends. The over the top love for the Chargers sparked their friendship. They had many great times when they were roommates for four years. Chris and Matt were known as the most intense Chargers fans in the group, and many phones were broken in passion about a game or two.

Lizzy and Thelma started their friendship in the cold house on Briand St. senior year of college. But their friendship really got going when they took a 6 hour road trip up to San Francisco for New Years Eve. Thelma shares Lizzy's love for karaoke and even spent 6 weeks in a row singing karaoke. Thelma shares Lizzy's love for cooking and finding the next best recipe. They often bond over a new cooking adventure. Thelma is one of the boldest and strongest women in Lizzy's life. Thelma is immensely supportive and Lizzy feels beyond lucky to have her in her life!
Groomsman
Cousin Charlie was Matt's brother from another mother. They were on the same page since the early years. A die hard Chargers Fan, Charlie has been there as a friend, brother, and cousin for Matt throughout his life. They had epic games of hide-and-seek out in the desert of El Centro and yelled about too many Chargers games. Although they don't get to see each other too often, Charlie has been a constant in Matt's life.

Katie and Lizzy met while at Outpost Summer Camps in 2008. Lizzy was instantly drawn to Katie's cheerful and optimistic personality. Their friendship really got going on their first trip to Palm Springs for a camp conference. Lizzy asked Katie to tell her her life story, and Katie obliged! They bonded over their love for being silly and being stoked! Lizzy and Katie also share the wonderful joy of being Julian Grants god mothers! Thanks for being the hotdog to her banana Katie!
Groomsman
Pat and Matt met in high school at Torrey Pines High School. They have had many bonding moments over sports; volleyball tournament in Rancho Santa Fe, broken phones because of the Chargers, and a few bets on college football games. Pat is part of many of Matt's favorite memories, including Pat's epic bachelor party in Costa Rica.
Bridesmaid
Candy and Elizabeth met in late May of 2007. It was Lizzy's first year of summer camp and Candy was a seasoned veteran. During their first summer at camp, Candy taught Lizzy many of the important things she uses today in her classroom. Candy is creative, innovative, and spontaneous. During their summers together, Candy would consistently impress Lizzy with her abilities to create amazing games, artwork, and community. She can connect with people and kids immediately. In addition to being her twin, Lizzy was lucky enough to be Candy's maid of honor, and even more lucky to be her youngest son's god mother!
Officiant
Matt met Amy through her now husband Chris Cairo. Matt appreciated Amy's honesty, her genuine character, and the fact that she was the coolest girl around. She and Matt saw eye to eye on all things. Lizzy met Amy one month into Lizzy and Matt's relationship. Lizzy was nervous to meet this person who Matt spoke so highly of, but within moments Lizzy knew she loved Amy! Amy and Lizzy bonded over their love of exceptional food, cats, and all things magical. Throughout the years of Lizzy and Matt's relationship, Amy has been there with sound advice, a great laugh, and a magical experience. They love going to Disneyland together, and can't wait for more of the magic to come!
Dog of Honor
Brewer came into Matt and Lizzy's life in August of 2018. He has been such a good pup and has enriched their lives so much. Sadly, Brewer won't be at the wedding, but he is really excited for his parents to be married!
