What are the details for the welcome party?
Answer
The welcome party will be the evening before the wedding on Friday June 20th at the Quarry Cable Park Bar and Grille in Crystal Lake. They have free parking, and it is located about 25 minutes from the hotel with Ubers typically available in the area. Come stop by at any time between 7-10pm to join us for drinks. Children are also welcome to join for this event! The Quarry has a limited food menu available for purchase. Please refer to their website for details.

What if I forgot to RSVP to the welcome party?

Please feel free to stop by the welcome party at any point even if you forgot to RSVP or changed your mind! Children are also welcome to join for this event. We would love to see you there!

What date should I RSVP by for the wedding?
Answer
Please RSVP no later than May 10th for the wedding!

What is the dress code for the wedding?
Answer
We would love to see you dressed your very best for our special day, so please wear Black-Tie Optional attire. Tuxedos and long dresses are preferred, but not required. Formal suits or dressy cocktail dresses are also acceptable. Please no jeans or denim, and please avoid wearing shades close to white. We can't wait to see you!

What is the easiest way to get to and from the wedding venue?
Answer
We will have a shuttle available to take you to the wedding venue from the Chicago Mariott Northwest Hotel. Pickup times will be at 3:30pm and 4pm. We will also have the shuttle making rounds after 8:30pm until the end of the night to help get you back to the hotel.

Will there be parking available near the wedding venue?
Answer
Yes, The Brix has plenty of parking available on site. They also have no issue with allowing cars to stay parked overnight as long as you pick them up the next morning!

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
Answer
Please arrive no later than 4:15pm. The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30pm. If you plan to take the shuttle, it will be departing from the Chicago Mariott Northwest hotel at 3:30pm and 4pm to take guests to The Brix. Welcome drinks will be available upon arrival.

Are children invited to the ceremony or reception?
Answer
We love your children, but our wedding day is an adults-only event. We appreciate your understanding and hope you will still be able to join us!

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
Answer
Because of limited venue space, we unfortunately cannot accommodate plus-ones beyond those named on the wedding invitation. We hope you understand our decision.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

All events will be hosted indoors at The Brix Two-Sixty!

What do I do if I cannot attend the wedding?
Answer
Please let us know as soon as possible if you cannot make it to the wedding. You can RSVP "not attending" by going to the RSVP tab and typing in your first and last name. Thank you! We will miss you!!

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?
Answer
Yes. Our caterer is happy to accommodate any dietary restrictions or allergies as long as they have notification prior to the wedding day. Please note your allergies or restrictions on your RSVP, and feel free to reach out to me or Matt directly if you have any questions. Our caterer or wedding coordinator would also be happy to discuss in detail any of your concerns!
