My save-the-date says “Ange and Seamus”, but my invitation says “Angelica and James”. Am I invited to two separate weddings? Who is Ange marrying, exactly?

Answer

Not to worry - Same wedding, and same groom! Seamus’ legal name is “James Thomas Mooney III”. When he was born, although his parents wanted to keep the family tradition of “JTM”s going strong, they also wanted Seamus to have a name that was unique and specifically his, so he has gone by “Seamus” for his entire life. (Also - “Seamus” is Gaelic for “James”!)
