FAQs

Question

Is this a wedding day or wedding weekend?

Answer

We're planning a one-of-a-kind wedding and have booked The Cedars Ranch all weekend so that we can spend quality time with all our favorite people (longer than just a few short hours at your typical wedding). We will have a full ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception on Saturday May 9, 2026, but we will also be celebrating together on Friday and Saturday before the wedding even starts! Picture yourself lounging by the pool, playing pickleball, roasting hot dogs and s’mores, and celebrating with us all weekend long. We can't wait to make unforgettable memories together!

Question

Will I be staying on property?

Answer

The ranch offers limited on-site accommodations, so most guests will be staying nearby in Wimberley (check out the Travel tab for our hotel recommendations). Even if you're staying off-property, we hope you'll treat the venue like home base for the weekend!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

As soon as you can! The earlier we know the better! All RSVPs are due by March 31, 2026

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for the ceremony and reception is Cocktail Attire. Polished attire like cocktail dresses (knee, midi, or floor length), stylish suits, dressy jumpsuits, or coordinated separates encouraged. Please note the wedding colors are green and white, and the bridesmaids will be in a range of green dresses.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love kiddos but not at our wedding (sorry!) Unless you have a newborn you must travel with, treat yourself to a night off, enjoying cocktails, dancing, and zero snack negotiations or meltdowns

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! In your RSVP you will be asked your dietary preferences. We will do our best to accommodate, but please reach out if you have any specific needs. We've got you gluten-free warriors, dairy dodgers, herbivore heroes, and carrot crusaders

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there's plenty of parking at the venue, but we encourage ride sharing (such as ubers or lyft) so that you can enjoy the night responsibly
