Question

Is there parking for the Embassy Club Downtown?

Answer

Yes! The Embassy Club Downtown at the Ruan Center's parking is on the southside of Grand Avenue between 6th and 7th Streets. Parking is available after 5 pm Tuesday - Friday and Noon on Saturdays. As you enter the garage, keep to the left, push the button and give your name to the security guard, who will raise the overhead door. Continue straight to the lower level. Take the elevator to the first floor, which is the lobby floor. From there, take the lobby elevator to the thirty-fourth floor. The security guard at the desk is available to help if you have any questions. For those arriving earlier than 5 pm, the 9th & Locust city parking ramp or any parking space on the street is convenient.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Absolutely! We are doing our best to create a magical moment to look back on and cherish for years to come. Because of that, we kindly request that men wear dark suits and women wear gowns, just like the fairytale we imagine.

Question

Why can't a guest attend if their name is not on the list?

Answer

Unfortunately, the venue is small and already at capacity per fire code. Additionally, it's a "plated dinner" with assigned seating and there isn't any overflow space. It was a really tough task narrowing down our guest list and an exclusion in NO WAY reflects our feelings of those not invited. Thank you for understanding <3

Question

Are infants and children welcome?

Answer

We kindly ask that our wedding reception be an adults-only celebration. As much as we love your infants and children, we encourage you to relax and make it a chance for you and everyone attending to enjoy a night off! We truly want everyone to fully celebrate our magical moment!

Question

Why adults only?

Answer

Great question! Our wedding day is a reflection of who we are—deeply meaningful, joy-filled, and a little untraditional. While it may differ from a typical Christian ceremony, it will be a celebration of love, connection, and the people who’ve shaped our journey. As the evening continues, we plan to dance the night away and fully enjoy the moment with music, laughter, and festivities that may lean PG-13 in spirit. For this reason, and to allow everyone to truly let loose, we kindly ask that our celebration remain adults-only—no children or infants, please. We are so grateful for your love and support, and we cannot wait to share this unforgettable night with you!
