Tying the Laces and the Knot 5K

11:00 am - 5:00 pm

Get ready to lace up your favorite running/walking shoes (preferably the couples favorite, Altras), we are hosting a 5K! No suits, no dresses required, just your best PNW vibe running outfit. And… WE LOVE HATS. So also wear your favorite or silliest hat, and yes of course there will be a prize for the best hat.

We will be hosting our own 5K pre wedding event at Larrabee State Park. The check in will start at 11:00am to allow guests to get their bibs and mingle. The 5K will start at 12:00pm and will include trivia stations about the bride and groom. Please don’t worry about your traditional training, as your place will be dictated more by these trivia stations than your actual finish time. The 5K will be followed by a catered “Trailgate” (Barbecue) that will be food, drinks, speeches, and an awards ceremony. Please make sure to also bring some warmer clothes as it may get chilly in Washington springtime! *Specifics* Location: Larrabee State Park, (If you navigate to “Larrabee State Park Beach Parking Lot”, you will arrive at the ideal parking lot) 5K Check in: 11:00am Race Start 12:00pm Food Service: 1:00pm Parking: Parking will be limited, so please try and carpool. The parking lot has a day parking kiosk but Discover Passes will also be accepted.

Tying the Knot (Wedding)

2:00 pm - 2:30 pm

*Specifics* Time: Please be Seated by 1:45pm Location: Carson Creek Estate (Entering “Carson Creek Estate” into google maps will navigate you to the correct Location) Directions/Parking: As you drive east on Summerland Road look out for balloons and Signs for “B+D Wedding”, there will be a right hand turn into a gravel driveway, follow signs for “Parking”. Attire: Semi Formal + Sandals (Tevas, Birkenstocks, or Chacos etc) or Flip Flop (rainbows only,… JK) optional. Men: Slacks, Button ups, Sports coat and Women: Spring Summer Dress (The fashion and dress code police will not be present, just don’t wear white)
