With the most recent into their households being their grandparents classic cars. Corrie has the 1969 Ford Galaxy 500 in Las Vegas, and Devan has the 1966 Ford Mustang in Kansas City, both with the plans of them being passed to the next generation of Mathews

We worked together at a sports bar, we did not get along very well. However we reconnected in 2020 and quickly became best friends. We love to eat together, and she probably gains about 5 pounds everytime she comes over!

Devan's middle brother that Devan would always follow to his soccer practices growing up, which has led to a mutual interest in Sporting KC. AJ did not share the same passion as Devan for cars but they were able to connect via AJ's passion for music. AJ is wholeheartedly the reason Devan has an extremely wide and strange variety of music on his phone.

Kelli is like a mom, a sister, and a best friend all rolled into one. I started babysitting her daughter when I was 19 years old and I am still a part of the family.

A friendship that started with Sean on his gas powered scooter and Devan revving his go cart engine across the street which lead to several years of playing soccer together. This lead to many years of a lifelong friendship filled with cars and sleepless nights. And Devan gaining the nickname Booboo whether its from an inside joke or the numerous visits to the ER Sean accompanied Devan on.

Richard, or better known as "Dick," was brought into Devan's life by Sean O'Connor. He is one of the close amigo that would always be found with in the garage with Devan when wrenching on cars. This does include when he single handedly squatted the Mustang motor when the engine hoist malfunctioned.

Devan's younger brother from his racing family. Devan first met Slater at his first go kart race and after several years Devan ended up traveling with Slater and his family wrenching on his sprint cars while racing a touring series.

Our friendship started in the 7th grade, we were in the same small section of lockers. We have been best friends for nearly half our lives. I've had the privilege of watching her become an amazing mom to 3 beautiful children and watch her grow into an amazing woman over our almost 15 year friendship!

Ross came into Devan's life around the same time as Richard. Ross would be found in the garage from time to time with Devan, primarily serving the purpose of encouraging outrageous ideas like hiding in a trunk to pop out of to scare someone but now mainly being there to provide a doctors opinion when those ideas goes terribly wrong.

A very good friend even though she is a wildcat and a soon to be awesome Mom. My favorite memories with her are at Lake of the Ozarks just relaxing and having fun! I cant wait to watch her become a wonderful mom.

Devan and Derek's friendship started as a men's soccer league rivalry after facing off for the championship numerous time. Once Devan's team stopped playing he ended up on Derek's team. This ultimately led to Derek being an assistant coach on Devan's premier soccer teams and Derek being Devan's chiropractor.

Our Furry Child! And the love of our lives. She is spoiled beyond belief and lives her best life every day. She was a foster fail that Devan was only supposed to have for a few days and then just never gave back. Every night she falls asleep in his arms and she is the best little spoon in the entire world.

The younger brother that Devan never had. Garrett and Devan first met on track at Kansas Speedway, that summer Garrett pretty much moved into Devan's Thursday through Sunday. The bond Garrett and Devan shared through motorsports only grew tighter while traveling to 10+ Nascar tracks across the United States.
