We're so excited to celebrate with you!

Our story starts in the most unexpected place, a funeral. For years, we'd shared mutual friends and somehow kept missing each other, until life finally crossed our paths in a moment none of us would have planned. Not long after, Mathew joined the youth group at Sandra's church, and the two of us officially met at a youth event at The Rec Room. Mathew challenged Sandra to a (not so friendly) game of basketball Connect 4, which Sandra may or may not have won (she did). From there, we started exploring the city together, and Prospect Point quickly became our spot. It's Sandra's favourite lookout, and the place Mathew chose to propose at sunset. It was one of the best days of our lives, and the beginning of the journey that's brought us here. We've spent a stretch of our relationship doing long distance, counting down to the day we wouldn't have to say goodbye anymore. That day is finally close, and we can't wait to celebrate the start of our forever with the people who've been part of our story all along.
