Our story began in the most unexpected way, through family and friendship. It all started with my sister, Maria, and his best friend, Devin (who are now engaged, congratulations to them!). One day, Devin was showing Mat a picture from a party Maria attended with our family. In the middle of everyone laughing and celebrating, Mat noticed someone else in the photo. He pointed at me and asked, “Who is she?” When Devin told him I was Maria’s sister, and that I was single, Mat didn’t hesitate. He asked if there was any way he could pass along his number to me. After some time (and a little patience), we finally exchanged numbers. What started as simple texts turned into hours of conversations.
