Mat & Brit’s love story… and you’re invited!

Hi! We’re Brittney & Mat, our story really begins long before we ever imagined it would become this kind of love story. We met 18 years ago at School of Rock, when I asked Mat to tune my guitar string during 101 practice. (Spoiler: he snapped the string, I cried, and somehow that disaster became the first scene.) What came after was the sweetest years of friendship, missed chances, and an invisible string that somehow kept pulling us back to each other. Somewhere along the way, life kept nudging us closer, as if it already knew the ending. For years, we danced around each other’s hearts chasing, circling, finding our way back until one day, ours finally landed in the same place at the same time. And from that moment on, it just felt right. Easy. Inevitable. Like we’d been writing this story all along. Now we share a cozy home in Easton, PA, right on the river, with our two sweet pups, Gizmo and Thumper, and our kitty Miko. Our happiest days are spent exploring nature, exploring NYC (especially new Broadway shows), trying new restaurants, wandering through small towns, listening to live music, traveling when we can, and soaking up quiet moments together…the kind that make ordinary days feel magic. On August 21st, we’ll finally say “I do” surrounded by our favorite people at The Lakehouse Inn. Our vision is whimsical, warm, fun, lakeside fairytale… a day filled with love and that same magic that’s followed us since the very beginning.
