Do I need a visa?

Answer

Starting October 2023, US citizens do need a tourist visa to enter the country. There are no details yet on how to get the visa. I will update this section once information is released.

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

There are 2 possible airports. Navegantes International Airport is about 50 minutes away by taxi or Uber to the hotel. Florianopolis International Airport is about 1 hour and 20 minutes from the hotel. I recommend the latter airport if you would like to spend some extra time exploring the beautiful city of Florianopolis before or after the wedding.

How do I get from the airport to hotel?

Answer

Both taxis and Ubers are safe and there are plenty in the area. Uber is typically cheaper than the taxis.
