New Plan

Thanks Covid

As you all know, we planned an entirely different wedding for October 10, 2020. We couldn't wait to bring everyone together, in a fun destination, to enjoy a concert at Red Rocks, drink some beers at a brewery welcome party, and then watch us get married and celebrate our love at an incredibly beautiful & historic venue. Well, the world had other plans! We were devastated to scrap our original wedding weekend and knew that the right *adjustment* would make itself clear to us in due time. Covid brought us back down to Florida. It gave us important time to keep growing together and loving each other. Looking back, we know that waiting for a new idea was the right path for us. As we see our lives returning to a new normal, we didn't want to wait another moment to start new adventures together as husband and wife! Now that the world is finally opening back up, we are so excited to celebrate this momentous occasion with you all. If you know us, you know we don't always follow the traditional path. A small, private group will be joining us for a Friday night ceremony and intimate dinner. We'll then have a full day reception on Saturday with all of you. We are incredibly thankful for everyone who has made it possible to celebrate on such short notice. We'll see you there!

How He Asked

Bi-Coastal Proposal

It was the end of April 2019 when Laura flew to Seattle for a week-long work trip. When planning her return, Laura was ready for nothing more than a night on the couch with Chad & Nola. Chad though, had some different ideas. Chad told Laura he wanted to kick off their upcoming long weekend with a nice date night. With Laura's agreement, Chad laid the foundation for his proposal plans. They walked along the Boston Harbor waterfront on their way to dinner. Chad suggested they stop to look at the sailboats and then, told Laura to turn and look at the boat passing on her other side. Laura didn't think much of this since they love to look at the boats that go through the harbor. That was until she turned and saw it was nothing more than a tug boat! Turning around to ask Chad why he pointed out this boat, she found Chad down on one knee, ring box in hand, asking her, "Will you marry me?" The answer was a quick and easy yes!

How We Met

8.22.2015

It was the summer of 2015... Laura's coworker kept telling her about his friend Chad and how much he thought they would get along. Laura kept responding with, "Thanks but no -- I've never met a Chad I liked!" Fast forward a few months, Laura's coworker invited her to a casual, last minute dinner -- in reality, it was Chad who suggested she join them! When she arrived, there was Chad. By the end of the night, Laura ended up saying, "If you wanted to give Chad my number, I would be okay with that!" Little did Laura know, Chad had already asked for it! Her coworker responded, "Great! I already gave it to him!" After that night, they both knew there might be something there...
