Question

What do I need to know about the venue?

Answer

Dolphin Point Villas will serve as our hotel and venue ALL weekend! The property features 6 villas that will be exclusively reserved for our family and friends. Dolphin Point offers a variety of amenities, including paddle boards, kayaks, a pool, and a private beach. Additionally, there are full kitchens, a sunset pier, BBQ grills, beach games, Wi-Fi, and parking available for everyone. If you would like to stay on-site with us, please let us know ASAP via the soft RSVP response! Dolphin Point will provide us a sheet of available rooms to assign to our guests. Once we assign the rooms and provide them your contact info, Dolphin Point will be your primary point of contact from now until Check-Out. PAYMENT IS NOT REQUIRED UP FRONT! You can pay in full now if you choose, or make as many partial payments as necessary until 30 days prior to Check-In. Final Payments are due by Jan 19, 2026. Question

What are the expected travel costs for the weekend?

Answer

We’ve kept our guests’ pocketbooks top of mind while planning this event to make it as affordable as possible. Staying on-site at Dolphin Point Villas is expected to range between $100-$300 per person, per night. There are a few different room options available. Once we have a count of who is staying on site, we will get with you on room preference and pricing. Round-trip flights look to range between $100-400 depending on the airline and time of year you book. As the date gets closer, we also hope to help arrange group travel from the airport to the venue.

Question

When should I plan to arrive and leave?

Answer

Our Dolphin Point reservation extends from Thurs, Feb 19, 2026 through Mon, Feb 23, 2026. Since we have the property reserved for a 5-day window, we hope that the flexibility allows you to find the best flight deals. Check-In is Thurs @ 4pm EST and Check-Out is Mon @ 11am EST.

Question

How will I get to Dolphin Point from the airport?

Answer

Rental cars or a group shuttle. We are hoping to help arrange group travel from the airport in order reduce the need for extra rental cars. This may mean a passenger van rental, shuttle or bus services, or other rideshare options where the costs can be split. As guests start booking their flights, we’ll share any great deals and flight times we come across. If we notice groups arriving around the same time, we'd be happy to help coordinate shared travel to keep costs down. If you would prefer the independence and would rather rent a car, you're welcome to. There is ample parking on-site at Dolphin Point. Take it from someone who rented a Corvette Convertible last time we were there: there is nothing like cruisin' through the Keys with the wind in your hair 😎 You will also have more freedom to explore the city or enjoy other activities nearby in the downtime throughout the weekend.

Question

Can I arrive earlier or stay later than the wedding weekend?

Answer

We have reserved Dolphin Point exclusively for 5 days & 4 nights from Thurs, Feb 19 2026– Mon, Feb 23 2026. If you’re interested in extending your trip beyond those dates, let us know, and we can provide recommendations for nearby accommodations or contact Dolphin Point! Dolphin Point is not exclusively a wedding venue - when there are no weddings scheduled all suites & accommodations are booked individually like any other resort!

Question

Do I have to stay on site?

Answer

Short answer: No, you're not required to stay with us. You're more than welcome to book your own accommodations off-site. Regardless of where you stay - everyone is welcome to join us all weekend from the Welcome Party to Sunday Brunch. We’ve reserved the entire Dolphin Point Villas property and all accommodations from Thurs, Feb 19, 2026 – Mon, Feb 23, 2026. While the accommodations are still at your expense if you stay on-site, we’ve worked to keep the cost comparable to, or even less than, other hotels in the area!

Question

What are the travel options from Detroit to Key Largo?

Answer

There are two airports nearby. MIA -Miami International Airport 60-min drive to Dolphin Point FLL - Fort Lauderdale Airport 90-min drive to Dolphin Point

Question

What is the best time to book flights to Key Largo?

Answer

We recommend booking your flights as soon as possible to secure the best rates. Since we’re planning a fun and relaxed weekend for everyone, we want to make sure all our guests can join us for the full experience, so the earlier you book, the better!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited accommodations and the intimate nature of our wedding, we are only able to host those who were specifically listed on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Are there any group discounts or special rates for accommodations?

Answer

Since we're renting the whole property, the cost of accommodations will be split among all staying guests, we estimate the cost to be $100-$300 per person, per night. Because we have Dolphin Point Villas to ourselves all weekend, we will not be reserving hotel blocks at nearby accommodations, but guests are welcome to stay off-site if they prefer.
