If you know Ellie at all, you know she has a “slight” obsession with Donald J. Trump, so it should be no surprise that Ellie and Seth’s story begins with an Election day party Ellie hosted in November 2020. Although Seth wasn’t at this party, Ellie invited a girl she had met on Bumble BFF and her husband, who also shared a similar passion for DJT. Everyone partied until the early morning hours, and towards the end of the party, Ellie jokingly told her new friend to “find her a husband”. No time was wasted on this task, and fast forward a few weeks, Ellie was invited to Galveston because Ellie’s “perfect match had been found”. This perfect match happened to be Seth. There was only one issue: Seth lived in Louisiana, but was coming to Texas to visit (AKA to meet Ellie LOL). Of course Ellie was all in and made plans to spend the weekend down there. Once these plans were made, Seth was given Ellie’s number and proceeded to text her one of the best opening lines (in my opinion). The two of them texted and talked constantly on the phone that entire week leading up to the weekend they were planning to finally meet in person. On 12/12/2020, Ellie arrived in Galveston and was met by Seth in the parking garage. Like a true gentleman, he carried her bags inside for her and helped wrangle her dog, Piper Grace. They spent the day bar hopping around Galveston enjoying the sunshine and each others company. After a few (too many) drinks, Ellie even rapped a few verses of Roman’s Revenge by Nicki Minaj… and to everyone’s surprise, Seth STILL wasn’t too embarrassed to be seen in public with her. Now, if you know Ellie, you know that her ordering entirely too many Jack in the Box tacos when she drinks has become a personality trait of hers at this point. Well, this night was no different, and Ellie ended up ordering $80… yes, EIGHTY, dollars worth of tacos together. A perfect ending to a great day, which made it seem almost too good to be true.

The weeks following their weekend spent together were nothing short of a rollercoaster ride. Ellie found herself emotionally conflicted, and told Seth she just wanted to be friends. Normally, this is a good time for someone to run, but Seth didn’t give up on her (thank God). He asked her countless times if he could come visit, spend the holidays with her, and on Christmas Day even texted her saying “I hope this is the last Christmas I have to spend without you.” Although conflicted, Ellie couldn’t stop thinking about Seth, and every time she pictured her future, it was always him that was standing next to her. Finally, in March 2021, after having a conversation with her mom over happy hour about how much she missed him, Ellie finally reached out to Seth asking for a second chance. After that day, they became inseparable, and quickly realized (as did everyone else) that what they had was something special, unlike anything they had ever experienced before. All of her friends and family immediately fell in love with Seth and could see how much love they shared…. which leads us here! And this is only the beginning of their story together ❤
