What covid protocols will we need to follow at your wedding?

Answer

Our planners, venue and vendors are working tirelessly to ensure a fun, safe and memorable evening for our guests. Our wedding is now taking place outdoors, so masks can be worn out of personal comfort. You are welcome to remove your masks while eating and drinking. Dining tables will be spaced 6ft apart to ensure proper distancing while guests are seated. All staff and vendors will be wearing masks for the entirety of the party. Please see a full list of precautions provided by the venue below: - Staff and vendors will wear masks at all times - Signage will be placed throughout the estate reminding guests to follow the CDC guidelines -The house will be cleaned before and after every wedding - Bathrooms will be periodically cleaned up throughout the wedding -There will be hand sanitizer and masks available in the bathrooms and throughout the house -The couple will be responsible for providing all guest contact information for contract tracing

What Does "Black Tie Optional Attire" Mean For Me?

Answer

Formal or Black-Tie Optional Wedding Dress Code. Garden chic. Dress to impress! For the Ladies, a floor-length gown, a fancy cocktail dress, or a dressy pants suit. Men have the option of wearing a tuxedo or a formal dark suit, white shirt and conservative tie. A suit jacket is required, a tuxedo isn't, but the event is still formal enough for one to be appropriate. Please keep in mind, our wedding is now taking place outside. What Time Should I Arrive At The Ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 4:00pm, as we will begin the ceremony promptly at 4:30pm. At that point, you will not be permitted to enter the ceremony.

Is There Parking For The Ceremony Or Reception?

Yes, if you choose to drive there is a parking lot located on the grounds of Appleford Estate. Please keep in mind we are providing transportation to and from wedding.

Do I have to mail back my RSVP or can I RSVP online?

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel?

Yes! We will have round trip transportation for everybody.

Yes, please specify any dietary restrictions within your online RSVP submission.

We will have ....drumroll please... an open bar! We will have more than enough for everyone, including table side wine service. Please be responsible. Photographs last forever ;)

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes. If not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony, cocktail reception and dinner will be taking place outside, but please don't fret! There will be ample shade and fans in case of warm weather. Dinner will take place under a beautiful white tent with lights. It's the perfect, covid-friendly wedding set up. Guests are absolutely welcome to enjoy the Appleford Cottage and take a seat inside the living room area, which is directly next to the dancefloor. Our welcome cocktails and after-party will be located indoors.

Where are you registered?

If you wish to celebrate with a gift, a contribution towards our honeymoon would be much appreciated. We also have a couple of other items listed. Please visit the "Registry" tab on our website for more information. Thank you!

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we would love for everyone to be able to bring their children, limited space is a major factor. Unless specifically noted on your invite (example: Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Billy and Jenny), children are not invited. We do love them though! We want our wedding to be your night off!
