Shay and I met playing volleyball when we were in middle school, but we lost touch through high school. Then when I transferred to Appalachian State, I reached out to her in hopes of knowing at least one person! She was excited to see me and after the first time we hung out we knew we were meant to reconnect! Ever since then we have been inseparable and I don't know what I would have done without her. She is just a wonderful woman. She teaches with passion, loves her husband to the moon, and is such an amazing friend. She travels the world with the best smile and attitude, and I am so glad to have a mover and shaker like her right by my side!

Matt is such an adventurous and intellectual person. He cares deeply for our family and is an extremely passionate person. He recently lived in Mexico for a year and a half and is planning to continue to travel and live in different areas. He enjoys living a non-structured lifestyle and helping to promote awareness and reduce economical impact on the Earth, which I think is so awesome. When he comes through Charlotte- we always have a blast and he is such a great uncle to the kids.

I have known Meg since we were five years old, and I don't even know how to put 20 years of friendship into a blurb! She is the funniest, most honest person I know. Her love and friendship have made growing up so much better. I don't know what I would have done my whole life without her quirky take on life. We have seen each other at our worst and our best and I am so glad we have had the chance to be in each others lives!

Nate is my oldest friend. We lived across the street from each other when we were 4-5 years old and continue to be best friends living across the county. From the beginning we were pretty much inseparable, spending as much time together as possible. We spent countless hours skateboarding, making home made videos, swimming, paintball, playing music, hiking and climbing, or anything else that caught our interest. Nate is such a determined person and spends most of his time outdoors rock climbing, hiking, and camping. On top of that, he majored in Geology and the University of Arkansas. He absolutely loves what he does and has always been such a great friend through my entire life.

Gannon is such an amazing athlete, as well as such a great uncle to Eli and Margo. He is so patient with them and really shows that he wants to spend time with them. On top of being so sweet with the kids he is determined to excel at the things he does and is definitely a funnyman. He loves to kick a ball around, or compete with anyone that's willing! I feel very lucky to have the opportunity to be in his life and see him grow.

Claire is also one of my cousins, I am just so impressed by how wonderful and bright she is. She works in schools, and bravely moved far from family to begin her life with her husband! Agee is one of the funniest people I have met for his age. He is so witty and definitely very intelligent. Even though he is not always a kids guy, he makes the effort to show Eli and Margo that he loves them. He and I have bonded over our love of art. His eye for it is great and I hope he cultivates that as he gets older. He is a great young man and I am so happy to be in his life. He is going to do great things and I cannot wait to see!

I met Erynn at the University of Alabama during our freshman year of college. We were both a little on the eclectic side and just hit it off from the start. I don't think I would have made it through that year without her quirky take on everything. She is such a caring beautiful soul. Though I don't get to see her nearly as much as I would like, she and I are those friends that feel like nothing has changed even if we haven't seen each other in years.

Ryan is my right hand man. A lot of the time, people would think we are brothers or confuse us since we very similar in a lot of aspects (including looks!). He is always there for me when I need him, and I can only hope hope he feels the same about me! We have been best friends since we met, and I am so glad that our families have become as close as we are. He is a hard worker, passionate artist, and a phenomenal father. He is becoming an amazing artist and I am so glad to work and grow with him.

I have known Hannah since our freshman year of high school. We met playing volleyball and quickly realized that even though people seem so different, they can become the best of friends. We began hanging out away from the court and I could not believe I stumbled across someone so fun, wild and creative. She now lives in Charleston,SC and is pursuing her amazing photography and videography career, and is rocking at it! She and I have had so many adventures and I believe have even more to come!

Alex is my brother from another mother and serves in the US Army. We lived together for a while in 2010-2011. I remember this was also partially during while Ellison and I dated the first time around. Even after we broke up, Alex insisted on hanging her artwork in our living room to show off. He is the kindest and funniest guy I know. I don't know someone who would be as willing as Alex to help you, stick up for you, or do something for you, without you having to ask. He will do this while simultaneously making you laugh so hard you would cry. Alex is very passionate, kind, funny, and tall. He moved out to California by himself to follow his dreams. Not many people I know would be that brave! If you are ever feeling down or need someone to brighten your day, Alex is the guy.

Kelly and I became quick friends when I began working at Sunflour about two years ago. She is one of the most dedicated and hardworking people I know, she truly inspired me. Paul is one of my oldest best friends in Charlotte. We have known each other for almost 10 years and he was also my first roommate when I moved out of my mom's house. We lived together in a tiny apartment both struggling to pay our bills, but we both had some of the best times in our lives. Paul is a great friend who is one of the best dads around! He loves spending time with his son Braydon and his fiancé Leah! I feel lucky that we have stayed such good friends for this long. Paul has always been there to support me and if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be where I am today!
