...when we met at a Penny and Sparrow concert in Birmingham. After the concert, we were introduced and then set up on a double date the next day with my roommate, Kristy and Kellen's roommate, Thomas. They are now married! Nothing really came from the double date, but a couple months later, I needed a date to my formal and figured "what the heck i'll ask Kellen." After formal, he asked me on a first date, and then another, and another. And then on New Years Eve 2017, we officially started dating. We dated long distance through the first 2 years and the last (almost) 2 years we have been in the same city. He proposed to me on a dock at Oak Mountain State Park on one of the most beautiful days of February. We are grateful beyond words to all the friends and family in our lives who have been a part of nurturing our relationship to this point. To God be the glory for bringing Kellen and I’s paths together in this life; and invite you, our dear people, into our engagement and marriage ahead!
