They swiped right on Bumble which is where they started talking about Pokémon, Star Wars and their interests. After talking for a bit, Mat asked Nicole on a date (she said yes of course).

Mat and Nicole went on their first date to Dirty Taco in Wantagh and later got ice cream at Carvel. They talked, smiled and laughed for hours, talking about how they grew up Polish and getting to know each other more.

Mat asked Nicole to officially be his girlfriend after dating for one month.

Nicole and Mat's first trip together was to the Catskills. They explored the amazing wilderness and said their first of many "I Love You."

Mat and Nicole moved into their Hicksville apartment together. They created new routines that worked with both their schedules, became a team and Costco members.

Mat proposed to Nicole at Waterdrinker Family Farm on the opening day of the Tulip Festival. After searching for the perfect spot to bend the knee, Nicole joyously said yes.
