FAQs & COVID-19 Info

If you have a question that isn’t covered here, please email Rachel or David at reedywedding20@gmail.com.
Question

A note about COVID-19 from David & Rachel

Answer

If you have been recently exposed to COVID-19 or are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19, please do not come to our wedding, even if you previously RSVP’d yes. Information about COVID-19 symptoms can be found at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/symptoms-testing/symptoms.html. For information about Ohio’s response to COVID-19, you can visit coronavirus.ohio.gov. All guests will be required to wear a face mask that covers their nose, mouth, and chin at the wedding, cocktail hour, and reception except when they are actively eating or drinking. Please come prepared to wear a mask for the duration of the celebration.

Question

Will I be required to wear a face mask?

Answer

Yes. Please come prepared with a face mask that fully covers your nose, mouth, and chin. You will need to wear a mask during the ceremony and whenever you are not actively eating or drinking during the cocktail hour and reception.

Question

Will the wedding be outside?

Answer

The ceremony and the reception will both take place inside. However, there will be a cocktail hour outside between the two events. In the case of inclement weather, we have secured a tent. Please be mindful of the weather when choosing your attire.

Question

When and how should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP on our website under the "RSVP" tab by March 25, 2021. To RSVP, type in the name of one person in your party (example: type "David Reedy" instead of "David and Rachel Reedy"). You will then be prompted to RSVP for your entire group.

Question

Will you be serving food?

Answer

Yes! Our reception will include a full brunch meal.

Question

Will there be a dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal attire is encouraged for our daytime event. Don't forget your mask :)

Question

Is there parking at The Monastery?

Answer

Yes, The Monastery has plenty of complimentary parking (a rare find in Mt. Adams!). You can choose to drive yourself or Uber/Lyft. The Monastery is at the top of a very tall, steep hill so we do not recommend walking to the venue.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your formal invitation says “and Guest,” then yes. If it does not, then unfortunately we’re not able to accommodate an additional person.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We love your children, however we have decided to make this an adults only celebration.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Crate & Barrel, Williams Sonoma & Pottery Barn, and Zola. You can find links to our registries on this site or search our names on the store websites.
