Haven't you two been married for awhile already?

Answer

Yes! Going on five years! We got engaged February 2020 and at the height of Covid decided to have an intimate family-only wedding in Lutsen, Minnesota. We absolutely loved it and it was the right decision for the time, but we knew we were missing out on sharing with all our closest friends. This celebration marks our five year anniversary, and a wonderful opportunity to share in this with all of you.

Do you have a gifts registry?

Answer

We do not! We prefer this to be no gifts. You all making it for our event to celebrate with us is more than enough! (If you see a registry page on this website you can ignore it, I just couldn't figure out how to delete it)

Do you have a hotel room block?

Answer

We do not have a hotel room block for the wedding. The wedding is in West Town, just a few minutes west of downtown Chicago, so we'd recommend staying in the city (The Loop, River North) or any of the near west (West Loop, Fulton Market) or near north (Lincoln Park, Old Town) neighborhoods.

Are kids invited?

Answer

Generally, this will be an adults-only party. That said, we understand a lot of our friends have kids, and if bringing your kids with makes it more doable for you to be able to attend, then you are welcomed to bring them with (and we'll have Forest there too). Please do give us a heads up in advance. We also have a rolodex of Chicago babysitters and can help arrange babysitters for the weekend as well.

Will dinner be served?

Answer

Yes! We'll have hors d'oeuvres and hot food stations, and also vegetarian and pescatarian options as well. We're also arranging for late-night Portillos (cheese fountain, anyone?)!
