We met officially on a dating app called Okay Cupid, original right!? I think what intrigued us both about each other's profile was that most of the pictures consisted of us boating on the lake. I’m not sure who messaged whom first (cough Adam), but we both bonded over boating, camping in Eastern, WA, and eventually found out that we had friends in common. We finally met up after about a month of talking, and when we did it wasn’t a normal date…it was a run in at the Mariner game (coincidentally) and only for a quick introduction. Although we broke the ice meeting briefly at the baseball game, we did finally go on a first date, which was at the Beach House in Kirkland. Ever since then it’s been a fun whirlwind of 4 ½ years together.
Fast forward those 4 1/2 years, many adventures, and a couple moves later, Adam proposed to me right where we had our first date. It was near the Beach House in Kirkland at a park overlooking Lake Washington at sunset. It was such a romantic, well thought out plan that he even had some of our friends hiding in the background, documenting the proposal. It was such a special day, I'll never forget it! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you soon in Naches!
