Catch a local Pirates game as they take on the Colorado Rockies on May 5th. PNC Park is a beautiful stadium with a stunning view of the city. Go Pirates!

Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh

Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh

The Carnegie Museums in Pittsburgh are spectacular. If you are interested in a bit of history or art check out any of these wonderful museums. Our favorites are the Natural History Museum and the Art Museum.

The Strip District

The Strip District

1729 Smallman St, Pittsburgh, PA 15222

The Strip District is a great area to experience the city life of Pittsburgh. An old train station has been converted into a bunch of wonderful restaurants and shops. Some of our favorites are Puttshack Indoor Putt-Putt, and Kaya Caribbean Restaurant.

Churn on Hart's Run Road

Churn on Hart's Run Road

3390 Saxonburg Boulevard, Glenshaw, PA 15116
, 4124067521

Nestled right outside of Pittsburgh and only about 5 minutes from our wedding venue, this local shop boasts a great selection of homemade ice cream and many coffee related items. If you are in need of a pick-me-up or are craving an afternoon treat, this is an excellent place to visit! (Abby highly recommends the Affogato - ice cream topped with espresso)

Duquesne Incline

Duquesne Incline

1197 W Carson St, Pittsburgh, PA 15219

If you are looking for a bird's eye view of Pittsburgh this is your shot! The Duquesne incline runs up the side of Mt Washington to give a stunning view of the city. This 146 year old incline is a local Pittsburgh wonder.

Visit Sewickley

Visit Sewickley

430 Beaver St, Sewickley, PA 15143

Come walk around the small township of Sewickley where we live. There is a wonderfully quaint main street with great restaurants and a small town feel. One of our favorite breakfast and lunch spots is Mediterra (430 Beaver St, Sewickley, PA 15143). And if you need to cool down with some local icecream check out The Sewickley Confectionery for some unique and delightful icecream.

Moraine State Park

Moraine State Park

225 Pleasant Valley Rd, Portersville, PA 16051

Moraine State Park is a wonderful park located just north of our venue. Moraine offers a large lake where you can paddle kayaks, or hang out on the beach. Additionally there a plethora of hiking and biking trails.

North Park

North Park

303 Pearce Mill Rd, Allison Park, PA 15101

North Park has been a go to spot for us during our time in Pittsburgh. The park sits just north of the city and has wonderful walking trails, pickleball courts, and a scenic lake. Additionally, there is a boathouse restaurant on the premesis that has indoor and outdoor seating. There is also a large open air brewery/coffeehouse right down the street at the Pro Bike Run store (9999 Kummer Rd, Allison Park, PA 15101).
