Question

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire. Suits, formal jumpsuits, formal separates and cocktail dresses are all welcome. Please see our Pinterest board for inspiration: https://pin.it/5MctOvqsl

Question

Is there a dress code for welcome drinks?

Answer

The dress code for our welcome drinks is dressy casual - it will be held at an indoor/outdoor lounge.

Question

Where should I park for the weekend events?

Answer

For Welcome Drinks at Botanical Lounge, we recommend using Uber or Lyft, but if you are driving we recommend using the parking garage at 559 Tucker Street across the street from Botanical Lounge. There are also other parking garages nearby. For the wedding ceremony and reception, there is limited parking available at Melrose Knitting Mill. We recommend using Uber or Lyft if possible.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

While we will not be providing transportation, the Longleaf Hotel is across the street from the venue, and the other hotels are a short Uber/Lyft away.

Question

Is the venue handicap accessible?

Answer

Unfortunately Melrose Knitting Mill does not have an elevator. The ceremony and reception will be held on the second floor of the venue.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors. Happy hour will be held outside, weather dependent.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your guest name is listed on your invite or you have a plus one option listed when you RSVP, then yes! Otherwise, we would love to keep the wedding as intimate as possible with close friends and family.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! Please reach out to the bride or groom with any allergy-related concerns or requests.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

You're way ahead of the game! Formal invitations will be sent out closer to the wedding date with a link to RSVP through our website.
