Wedding Party

Meet the friends and family walking us down the aisle on our big day!

Christine Mason

Mother of the Bride

Julie brings so much Joy to our lives. We have watched her grow into the beautiful, kind and loving woman she is today. Julie’s dad and I look forward to the many adventures Julie and Nate will share together as husband and wife.

Deby Siqueiros

Mother of the Groom

Nathan has grown into remarkable young man who is loving, caring and supportive. I am so glad he waited to marry someone that appreciates and shares these qualities. I am so proud to be his mom and look forward to watching these two create their life together. I love you both!

Timothy Mason

Father of the Bride

Hi everyone, my name is Tim and I’m Julie’s Dad. I’m very proud of her and look forward to finally giving her away!

Jim Percy

Father of the Groom

I've known Nathan for a long time. So long in fact, that he feels like a son to me. I'm excited for Nathan and Julie as they open this next chapter, and wish them a lifetime of love and happiness together!

Stephanie Cassidy

Officiant

Stephanie is one of the few people in my life I know the exact moment when we met and I’ll never forget it. It was my first day working at a restaurant in Pasadena and it happened to be the Pasadena Ferrari Show the same day. The manager wanted us to pass out coupons to the attendants and without hesitation Stephanie grabbed two large paper cups asked, “You like mimosas?” and we were instantly friends. That was over 11 years ago and Stephanie has become one of the most important people in my life. I’m honestly not sure how we haven’t been arrested (together, anyway) but there’s always time on the big day! Love you, Stephanie. Can’t wait to blast Gin Blossoms and pretend we’re in Dirty Dancing.

Taylor Andrade

Matron of Honor

From Taylor: “I met Julie in the Fall of 2013. Our friendship has started as a bad sitcom, Julie my local bartender full of wisdom and heavy pour; me a stressed out grad student. Between myself and my now husband -Joe- we kept Julie busy at the bar. Thankfully our friendship moved away from the bar and she has been stuck with us ever since. From trivia nights, to bottomless mimosa brunches, breakups, birthdays and graduations; Julie was always there for me. 10 years later I am lucky to call her my best friend and auntie to my little girl. Julie stood beside me on my big day and I am so honored to be able to stand by her this January.

Charles Cardona

Bridesman

Charlie and I became friends the first day we met; bonding over our passion of food and beverage, then obsession with Game of Thrones and DragRace, and of course our mutual hatred of the restaurant we worked at. When Charlie lived in Southern California our spur of the moment nonsense knew no bounds. On more than one occasion he dragged me out of bed to go on hikes I was not prepared for, put on make up and dress up for a lunch date when I wasn’t in the mood, and pulled me out of whatever funk I might have been after a long day of work, and I know every time I see his name pop up on the phone there’s going to be long amounts of stupid laughter. I honestly feel bad for the people who have to witness the chaos that is our friendship and that’s what I love about Charlie the most. Can’t wait to celebrate with you, daahhhling.

Brittany Frenkle

Wedding Planner

Brittany and I met in 8th grade, at least that’s what we’ve agreed on. We didn’t really become friends until years later when I rented the apartment next to her and we shared a wall for a little over two years. Our schedules never really match up between her 9-5 and my chaotic bartending schedules. Nonetheless, we always had time for a cold beer on our shared patio, passive aggressive knocks on the shared wall when one of us (usually me!) was annoying the other, and hours of binging our favorite: trash TV. Over the years her family has become a second family to me and an amazing support system. She has been such a wonderful help planning this whole shindig and I would have been lost in more ways than one without her. The fact that she lives across the street and I know where her secret stash of wine is has also been a huge help.

Frank Rocha

Best Man

My name is Frank, I’m married to someone a lot prettier than myself and have 3 kids. Nathan and I have been friends since the fourth grade. We both loved sports, being outside, and dumb humor. He’s my son’s nino, oldest friend, and one of the best men I know. I’m Turk to his JD, I’m happy he found his Elliot and I can’t wait for January.

John Ayers

Groomsman

John and Nate have been friends since 2008 (15 years?!?). They met at Fullerton College in the journalism room, immediately bonding over their love of sports, stand-up comedy, and TV/movie references (Eagle...!). Throughout the years they’ve attended numerous comedy shows, watched countless hours of sports and UFC (when Nate wasn’t cheating at UFC on Xbox), have lived together, and Nate was even a groomsman in John’s wedding. Maybe the most significant gift/curse Nate has given John was setting him up on his first (and only) blind date with a man, Andrew Palovik (a lesser groomsman in this wedding). John lives in Texas with his wife of 10 years, Lindsay, and 6-year-old daughter, Emma. John and Nate continue to stay in touch today over their growing love of golf, an age-appropriate hobby for these two aging friends.

Andrew Palovik

Groomsman

Nate and I met in 2010 on the campus of Fullerton College specifically a Saturday class for Sports broadcasting. Nate and I went on to broadcast hundreds of football, basketball and baseball games together. Our partnership on the airwaves was so strong based off the friendship we had. Nate is one of the best people I have ever met and I am thankful everyday for our friendship.

Chris Haire

Groomsman

Chris and Nathan met at Fullerton College in 2008 while working on the student newspaper together and bonded immediately over a shared interest in baseball, journalism and Scrubs references. Chris went on to be a big shot journalism student at San Francisco State and Columbia University, while Nathan stayed in SoCal, but the two have worked together at the Orange County Register and SoCal News Group since 2014, continuing to grow as professionals (Chris perhaps moreso than Nathan) and keeping each other sane through abstract movie and TV show quotes and historical baseball knowledge (again, Chris holds a big advantage).
