With our five year age difference, our relationship is super unique and precious. Not many people can say that they have changed their Maid of Honors' diaper or was their go to "thunder buddy" since infancy but here we are! Monty is a passionate goofball with a spicy personality so it is obvious that I had a hand in raising her. She is ALWAYS in my corner and was actually the first person Ricky spoke to about proposing to me! I love you Monty and I am so happy to have you by my side!

I met Hayden back in 5th grade when he moved from the exotic tundra of Minnesota. I couldn’t have asked for a better friend to grow up with. We explored creeks, waged our tips from work in Texas Hold ‘em games every week, and started a business together. Hayden and I were inseparable…until he did the unimaginable and went to the University of Alabama for undergrad. I have decided to forgive him and happy to have him as my best man.

“I’ll be there for you!!” Oh Rog, where to begin? We went to rival high schools (and she hated me lol) but then we became college softball teammates and realized I wasn’t too bad. Between Friends marathons, softball injuries, pulling all-nighters during finals week, and taking knitting classes from Dr. Giberson we became the closest of friends. We all have that one friend who tries really hard to do nice things for people but it somehow backfires… That friend is Lauren. She is the kindest soul who truly cares for others. I am so excited to have you by my side, just as I was by yours! Love you best friend.

“Chick-Chick… FIL-A!” Taylor took me under her wing in college. Literally, we shared a bed for two years and she was obsessed with owls. LOL She is also my sorority Big and played collegiate softball with me! Taylor kept me on time, organized, and well-fed during college. If it weren’t for her, I would have lived solely off ramen, easy mac, and mini wheats. She is caring, hilarious, and will be frank with you (we love the honesty!). Our friendship has always been so natural since day one- she accepts my uniqueness. I love you so much T Causey! I am so excited to have you by my side.
Kevin Li

Kevin was my “big brother” in my fraternity at UGA. He took that role seriously and has looked after me ever since. He let me sleep on his couch countless times over the years and has always helped me whenever I needed it. He is one of the most self-less people I know and is currently an occupational therapist at Shepard Center in Atlanta. He is a great friend, and I am excited to have him up there with me during my wedding.

“You’re my person.” I met Doua back in the grade school days. We were in chorus together and enjoyed our science classes a little too much. To this day Doua will not let me live down the flower I drew that apparently looked like a cactus wearing a sombrero. To be fair, she is quite the artist and has a much greater creative eye than I. Doua is reliable, kind, and a bit rebellious. She has been by my side through the best and worst times. I am so blessed to have a friend like you, and I am excited to have you by my side. Love you so much!

Christian and I met in medical school. It was easy to become friends with Christian as he is one of the nicest people I have met. He is easy to spot because there is a 90% chance he will be holding a Coors Light. He is carrying on a family tradition and going into ob/gyn for residency. Dr. Reinhardt at your cervix! Fun Fact- Christian and I are ‘regulars’ at our local Kroger’s beer and wine bar.

“Hehe” Elin is an enigma. You think she is a reserved and quiet person but then she becomes comfortable around you and hits you with the funniest (and sassiest) one-liners. This one is full of surprises! Elin is a medical school friend who is also my neighbor which automatically makes her my walking buddy. Not only is Elin witty, but she is so sweet, caring, and spunky. I love you so much and am so happy to have you by my side.
Alex Crowley

I carried Alex through medical school, so I thought it would be appropriate to feed him as well. Alex quickly became one of my best friends during medical school. As our neighbors, Alex and Elin were our only human interaction for months during the pandemic when we took walks behind our apartment complex to explore civil war forts and alligator habitats. He is infamous for his relentless questions to get to know you better. He is going into residency for orthopedic surgery, so make sure to ask him about all of your joint problems.

“Soooo when’s game night?” Jana and I met in college, we were research partners which meant I did all the work and Jana got to add her name to it LOL. But then we became roommates in medical school and developed an amazing friendship! Jana is the life of the party but also the most loving friend who gives the best hugs. If there is one thing you should know about her, it’s that she loves her cat, Chester. But is also highly allergic to him and will occasionally wake up with a swollen face or bronchitis. Jana is a friend that knows all my faults but still loves me. She is caring, energetic (after a nap), and always down for a game night! I love you so much Jana and I am so happy to have you by my side.

Ethan was one of my pledge brothers in my fraternity at UGA. We probably started hanging out because we have a very similar caliber golf game (not great). I like to joke that he is the most adult person I know… including my parents. He got his CPA before I was even in medical school and has very exciting stories about his career in mergers and acquisitions. Ethan is also in an awesome band called Bad Guru, and you should check him out on Spotify.

“You good, little buddy?” Oh boy, here we go. Gio is my sorority little and quite the firecracker! She is a goofy, fun-loving spirit who is so kind, intelligent, and selfless. This woman can eat a Waffle House waffle in four bites, FOUR BITES. I knew she meant business when she pulled her hair into a ponytail, but I was still very impressed. When we are together is like the blind leading the blind because we are both so oblivious and naïve. She is always doing what is good and right, a complete angel. I love you so much Lil G and I am so excited to have you by my side.

I also met Patrick in my fraternity at UGA. He was always the “good” bad influence to get me out of the house and have a social life. He was also our fraternity bartender at Flanagan’s Irish Pub where he made delicious $2 whiskey cokes. He is the life of the party and when Patrick is around I know it’s going to be a good time. Love this man and excited to see what moves he brings to the dance floor.

“MURP!” I met Alexi in medical school. She introduced me to this wonderful thing called yoga and now we are the best of yogi pals. Alexi is a free spirit, a creative who is always going out of her way to spend time with those she loves most (which may or may not be her cats, Hera & Anya). Yoga is so much more difficult when you have cats trying to show you love! Alexi is an amazing friend who will help you find a solution to any problem. She is the cutest hipster nerd with an eccentric style and glowing personality. Love you Lex and I am so happy to have you in my corner!

Ryan and I first met in middle school where he relentlessly bullied me. We patched things up in college when we were in the same pledge class in our fraternity. We became great friends and ended up living in the fraternity house together with his pet ball python named Penny. He might be the only one that can out lift Weston at the event. He is also an award-winning biomedical engineer and is recently employed- Congrats Ryan!
