Mason took me on this beautiful hike to see some Castle Ruins, little did he know we went on the back side of the trail. We found a beautiful spot and that is where he asked me to be his girlfriend! The Castle and Summer White House were built by John Walker in the early 1900's. He stopped building the summer white house when lightning struck his own home and generated a fire that killed his family. The stone foundation of the home can still be accessed.
