Mason and Megan met when Mason came to Sheets Memorial Christian School in 2018. Members of separate friend groups, they didn’t talk outside of school projects until a mutual friend officially introduced them in 2020. They hit it off just before the COVID-19 lockdowns, and Mason remembers FaceTime calling Megan to “help with math homework,” which quickly became calling just for each other’s company. Megan and Mason had their first date at the Barbecue Center in Lexington on July 20th, 2020, splitting one of their famous banana splits. They dated through high school and graduated together in 2022. Mason proposed to Megan by the Pineapple Fountain in Charleston, SC, on June 12th, 2025. They can’t wait to begin this new chapter surrounded by friends and family, like you!
