What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 1, 2026. Guests are able to RSVP after invitations are sent. Due to vendors requiring guest counts, seating will not be available to guests who do not RSVP by the deadline.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to the limited venue capacity, we are unable to accommodate every plus-one. The name of every guest invited will be listed when you RSVP.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

We kindly ask that only the people listed on the invitation/RSVP be in attendance.

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

Yes, please list any dietary requirements on your RSVP so we can pass it along to our caterers!

Where should we send our wedding gift?

Answer

Am I able to contribute to more expensive gifts?

Answer

Yes! Gifts over $200 will be registered as “group gifts” on its respective registry. You can contribute any amount you wish, you do not have to buy it outright. Just please mark it as “didn’t purchase” on Zola so others can also contribute!

What's the dress code?

Answer

Kindly join us in semi-formal attire. Gentlemen, please wear a suit or blazer with dress pants. Ladies, a midi-length cocktail dress or dressy separates would be ideal. In keeping with our barn-themed reception, we ask that guests refrain from wearing jeans, however, cowboy boots are welcome and encouraged!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive and be seated at St. Therese by 3:15pm. Doors will be closed at this time, and you will not be able to enter the church, so please allow ample travel time!

Am I allowed to take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you refrain from taking any photos or videos during the ceremony. However, please feel free to do so during the reception!

Will it be a nuptial mass or just a ceremony?

Answer

We will be having a Nuptial Mass with the distribution of Holy Communion. The Church asks that only Catholics in a state of grace receive Communion during Mass and invites all others to come forward for a blessing, indicated by crossing your arms over your chest.

What transportation options are available?

Answer

If you are traveling from out of state, we recommend carpooling or picking up a rental car at the Charlotte Douglas Airport. We have included rental options with discount codes on the travel section of the website.

Am I allowed to smoke?

Answer

This is a smoke free wedding. Please refrain from smoking at any point during the ceremony and reception.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

There will be a limited bar with pre-selected beer, cider, and wine options, followed by a coffee bar with various espresso and coffee drinks.
