We met Junior year of high school after we both moved to Texas in 2020 from the Pacific Northwest, him from Alaska and me Washington. I started at China Spring, and not far after, Mason did too. We were introduced through a teacher, and didn't talk much after that until my close friend, Lorelai, kept trying to set us up. We finally started talking and we talked all summer, until senior year. We went our own ways and did our own thing, but something always pulled us back together. No matter what we did or where we went, we would end up in the same place at the same time. Truly an invisible string tied us together.
