For almost 20 years Cody has been one of my best and most loyal friends. I can always count on him to be there when he is needed, whether it’s a huge favor at the last minute or simple conversation. Through the years of being friends, roommates, the countless amount of sports heartbeat and now being in each other’s weddings. I am so incredibly happy that he and Mason can begin this wonderful journey that is marriage. I am beyond honored that I get to be a part of their wedding and to see them grow as a couple. I love both of them dearly, and I wish nothing but the best for them.

Meeting Mason through Cody was one of the best things to ever happen! Both needing girl friends in Dallas we immediately clicked, and the rest is history. My favorite memory is when Mason and I had the most incredible night at a William Clark Green Concert at Billy Bob’s!

Cody and I met in high school playing football for the Vista Ridge Rangers. Although we knew each other, we didn’t become close friends until a World History class with Mrs. Maupin, where we talked shit, debated movies and for some reason gave high fives to everyone. We would constantly go to movie theaters, play NCAA football, the Batman Arkham games and of course, talk the NFL. I am very lucky and fortunate to have such an amazing guy as a brother and friend.

Cody and I met multiple times. The first time through my older sister at a mutual friend’s party and it seems neither of us were impressionable enough to remember the other. The second time when Cody thought I was a professor at Tech. However, I was actually just a sophomore attempting to live the dream by starting a sports broadcasting show. Cody took the bait, hook, line and sinker—despite my obvious red flags of not knowing what I was doing. He even went as far as texting me personally to invite me over to watch the NBA finals that summer…looking back now, it sounds more like a date…so maybe I took the bait? Regardless, we’ve been best buds ever since over a shared love of sports, drinking, and dude shenanigans. Forever grateful Cody reached out that summer!

I met my dude, Code Red, during Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals. He invited Spencer and I to watch the game over at his place with him and Caleb. Cleveland got a championship and I got a brother for life. It’s hard to share just one memory over the last 8 years, but whether it’s jamming to Nirvana and Juice WRLD till 3AM in the back house, going on boys trips, consoling each other when the Vikings or Cowboys lose, turning the party mansion into a frat house, or forcing people to listen to Nickelback, I’m always the happiest when I’m with Cody and the boys. He’s the most loyal and genuine friend a guy could ever have.

Hi I’m Addie! I met Mason through my husband, Tyler who’s one of Cody’s groomsmen! After meeting Mason, I instantly knew we didn’t need the boys to be friends for a lifetime! I think we’ve now spent more time just us girls without the boys than with all of us together! Mason is one of the most caring, loyal, and supportive friends I’ve ever had. I am so blessed to stand by her side and watch her marry the man of her dreams!

Cody and I officially met our sophomore year of college— come to find out we lived on the same dorm floor our entire freshman year, when I came over to his roommate Chandler's house to hang out. We got to talking and I remember vividly we started bonding over listening to Charlie Robison and the rest is history. Now “our” song is In My Arms Instead by Randy Rogers. 7 years later, he’s still one of my best friends!

Cody and I met in high school and the first time we hung out, outside of school, was to work on a senior project together. He came over to my house, my mom brought us ice cream, and my dad made us move a 1000 lb fish tank. That was the first of many stories to come that we have together. After going to Texas Tech together, hanging out almost daily, and living together for a while, our friendship continued to grow. We are kind of like a film rating--we have memories together rated G, and some, well NC-17? I always feel like Cody and I have a special bond and can connect over things you may not be able to with someone else. I'm proud to call Cody and Mason close friends. Congrats!

My favorite memory is when we took Mason wake surfing for the first time — we put on a Taylor Swift song for her and she got up IMMEDIATELY! I have heard that it's not about how long you've known someone that makes you great friends, but the good times you have had together that do it, and ever since that day in the spring of '16 we have had great times. Cody and I were introduced to each other by Tyler Martin. It took Tyler 6 months of hanging out with me on Fridays and Cody on Saturdays to finally put it together that we all might want to all hangout. We laughed till we cried, fought, and crushed a lot of beers, and I wouldn't have asked to do it with anyone else. Love you brotha.

Mason has quickly become a great friend and someone who means so much to both myself and my family. Although, it remains a mystery to this day on how we met - we were able to bond over growing up in a small town, having little to no filters when sharing stories, and people watching at the gym. Everyone needs a friend like Mason, not to mention, she’s the best auntie in the world. It’s been a pleasure to see the love Mason and Cody have for each other and such an honor to be by their side on their wedding day. We cannot wait for your big day!!!

I am Mason’s favorite little sister and one of the best drinking buddies you’ll ever have! (ask Cody) Being Mason’s little sister, I always looked up to her and felt like I had such big shoes to fill, I mean, come on, look at the girl! As I’ve gotten older I realized I don’t have to fill her shoes, but rather how lucky I am to have such perfect footsteps leading the way for me. She is inspiring, kind, and an all around joy to know! I know she especially enjoys having to get on to me and Cody for staying up till 4 am drinking and watching Lil Peep videos, let’s be honest though, that never stopped us. I couldn’t think of a better fit for either one of them, and I am so grateful to have these beautiful people in my life!

I met Mason when we were working at Lubbock’s finest Italian restaurant: Olive Garden. One night, we were closing and we bonded over a breadstick. She didn’t know she could “steal” them, so I stole one for her and the rest is history. After many Rosa’s Taco Tuesdays, Holly Hops, Braum’s, and Dunkin’ coffee runs, we became best friends. Mason asked me to officiate her wedding and I thought being an ordained minister would be cool too, so here we are!
