Cancun International Airport
The Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun is located 8.6 miles from the Cancun international airport. Our recommendation is to book a taxi or shuttle. Groups that arrive together can coordinate a joint shuttle to the resort. This information can be found on our group booking's webite, under "Roundtrip Airport Transfers." The hotel group booking's website can be found under our "Travel" section on this website. It is not required to book through Nexus (which is the recommendation from the hotel). We have used "Happy Shuttle" in the past and have been happy with their services and prices. This is up to your discretion! Please let us know if you would like assistance coordinating transportation with other guests! We will be happy to help organize and connect people, especially those arriving at similar times.
Please know our wedding and accommodations are at the Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun. Royalton Riviera Cancun and Royalton Hideaway are a part of the resort next door to ours, but they are not the correct hotel. The Royalton CHIC hotel is also not the correct resort. This one is located in the hotel zone and is about 45 minutes away.
The deadline to take advantage of our discounted group rates has passed. However, you may still contact our travel agent, Swati, to inquire about pricing and availability to book via the agency. You may also book directly on the Royalton Splash website, which is a Marriott Autograph Collection resort. If you plan to attend the wedding but are staying at a different resort, please let the bride and groom know so we can ensure you have access to a day pass. The Royalton Splash is an all-inclusive resort, and a day pass will be required to attend the wedding and to enjoy the resort's amenities. We truly wish we could invite all our guests’ children to our wedding, however we are only able to invite the children of our immediate families. If you wish to bring your whole family to Cancun, you are welcome to! But please know that the reception and ceremony will be adults-only, unless expressly invited. Thank you so much for understanding!
Unfortunately, due to space limitations, we simply can’t allow for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. As mentioned previously, if you and your partner wish to both travel to Cancun, you are welcome to! But please know that our ceremony and reception spaces are limited to those who are specifically named on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!
For the wedding events on March 1, For men: A light suit or a long-sleeved shirt with a jacket and slacks. Ties are optional. For women: A light, floor-length gown, or a formal cocktail dress or jumpsuit in breathable fabrics. Bright colors for our guests are very encouraged by the bride and groom!
Our “rehearsal dinner” will be on the beach on Friday, February 28th. All guests are invited to join us. Please wear cocktail attire with shades of tan, beige, champagne, khaki, etc. (But not white! 😉)
Our ceremony, cocktails, and reception areas will be in covered, outdoor spaces but not on the beach. Our rehearsal dinner will be on the beach, on sand. All invited guests in Mexico on Friday evening are welcome to join us for "the night before."
