The Lugo Ranch is a beautiful 35 acre property that we have chosen for our camping wedding. This means you can pitch a tent, bring a camper or sleep under the stars. Whatever you want! Whether you spend one night or stay the whole weekend, we just want you there. Check out the gallery to get an idea of the Ranch and what to expect.
Beautiful open flat land; dirt and small shrubs. If you are camping, we recommend you bring a canopy to add shade to your camp site. See the gallery tab for a video of the Lugo Ranch.
If camping is not your style, that’s okay! You are dead to us and you can delete our number. Just kidding! Please see the travel section for other nearby accommodations.
The Lugo Ranch is raw land. Meaning, there WILL NOT be power outlets or running water on site unless you bring a generator or solar power. There WILL however be multiple outhouses and sink stations for hand washing.
We are extending the camping invite from Friday July 19th - Sunday July 21st. The wedding ceremony will take place at sunset on Saturday July 20th at 7pm. Dinner will be served before the ceremony around 4pm.
The Colorado Springs Airport - 1 hr 34 min drive. Denver International Airport - 2 hr 15 min drive.
July in Fairplay, Colorado is HOT and dry. Temps can range from 75-90 degrees Fahrenheit during the day with no shade on the property. Nights are cool and range between 45-65 degrees Fahrenheit. It can get windy!
Please dress for an outdoor western event. Overall, there is no dress code. The only recommendation is you do not wear high heels where your heel will get stuck in the dirt.
There will not be a shuttle to and from the property if you are staying in town. There is a local taxi in Fairplay that will be first come first serve. Please keep in mind that cell service may be spotty.
The town of Fairplay is 20 min away where you can find hotels, Airbnbs, small grocery, liquor stores, gas stations, restaurants, bars, and an Ace hardware. The town of Hartsel is 10 min away. This is more of a pit stop where you can find a gas station.
Robert Tust will be roasting a pig and turkey legs for the ceremony dinner on Saturday. Mason and Cristina will be serving breakfast on Sunday. If you plan to stay Friday - Sunday, come prepared for all of Friday and Saturday breakfast. We will only be serving food and drinks for the ceremony on Saturday evening and Sunday morning.
Bring your usual camping gear. Contact Cristina or Mason if you have questions. A few items we highly suggest- Camping chairs, table, canopy, food, water, and swim suits for the near by reservoir. We also welcome you to bring any kayaks, paddle boards, lake boats, ATVs, etc.
We recommend using Middle Fork RV park in FairPlay, CO. Their contact info is 719-836-4857 (middleforkrvpark.com)
We love all animals but unfortunately no pets will be allowed on the ranch.
