Airport & Travel Information We're excited you're joining us for the wedding at Kualoa Ranch on Oahu! We live on the Big Island and will be there until the wedding day. All guests fly into Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) in Honolulu—the only commercial airport on Oahu. From HNL, it's a scenic 30–45 minute drive to Kualoa Ranch (rent a car for flexibility; rideshares/taxis/Uber are available). HNL Tips: Direct flights from most major cities. Book rental cars early—essential for Oahu. Optional: Visiting the Big Island Before the Wedding If you'd like to visit us on the Big Island first (volcanoes, beaches, etc.), take a short inter-island flight from Honolulu (HNL) after arrival (~45–60 min via Hawaiian Airlines, Southwest, etc.). Hilo International Airport (ITO) — Closer for highlights like Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, waterfalls, and the east side (more natural/less crowded). 40 minutes from our house. Kona International Airport (KOA) — Better for the sunnier west side: beaches, resorts, snorkeling, and coffee farms. 2.5 hours from our house Fly into one and out of the other to explore more, then return to Honolulu (HNL) for the wedding—daily flights are frequent and easy. If you choose to explore Big Island you will need to rent a car. Accommodations on Hilo Side (where we live)--AirBB/VrBo look for locations in Keaau/Pahoa. Questions about flights or plans?
