August is a peak season in the Grand Tetons, offering the best weather for outdoor activities throughout the year. We recommend packing clothing suitable for layering. Weather conditions in the Tetons can change significantly throughout the day, so it is advisable to prepare for both warm and cooler conditions. Lightweight, moisture-wicking clothing is ideal for sunny hikes, while additional warmer layers, such as a fleece or jacket, should be included for cooler evenings. Don't forget to bring a swimsuit for swimming in the lake or visiting nearby hot springs. Even if you do not plan to hike extensively, there will be plenty of walking involved, so comfortable footwear is essential. Additionally, please pack some stylish outfits for evening outings and the wedding. (See the wedding plan for specific wedding attire guidelines.)

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors, regardless of weather conditions. Please review the weather forecast on the day of the event and dress appropriately. Any updates or changes to the schedule will be communicated promptly. The reception will be held indoors at a nearby restaurant. Additional details regarding the reception will be provided soon.

Should I bring a gift to your destination wedding?

Answer

Since you’re traveling for our wedding, making the trip is a gift in itself — physical gifts are absolutely not necessary! If you do choose to browse our wedding registry, however, any items on the list can be shipped directly to our home address.

Are kids Welcome?

Answer

Yes! We would be delighted to have your children join us for the celebration. Our wedding is family-friendly, so please feel free to bring your children to share in the occasion. Kindly ensure that you include any children you plan to bring when submitting your RSVP so we can accommodate everyone appropriately.
