The Wedding Website of Ashley Stafford and Matthew Carroll
We know the world is going through so much more than we are right now, and we are using this time to listen, educate, and grow. We stand for all love, BIPOC, and the LGBTQIA community. Below we have shared some resources related to causes that are close to our hearts. We ask that you please take the time to explore or donate to any initiatives where you would also like to see change and improvement. With all of our love, Ashley and Matthew
Art Administrators of Color

Art Administrators of Color

In March 2020, Arts Administrators of Color set up an Arts Leaders of Color Emergency Fund, which supports BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) artists & arts administrators impacted by COVID-19 through $200 microgrants. As of June 2020, over 11,000 arts leaders have express financial need through the emergency fund application. The artwork of Breonna Taylor above was created by Brianna Pippens who kindly allowed us to use her piece for this purpose. You can find more of her work and her print shop through her Instagram @bpeppersart.

Philadelphia Bail Fund

Philadelphia Bail Fund

The goal of the Philadelphia Bail Fund is to eliminate money bail in Philadelphia. Ending the injustice of money bail requires shifting Philadelphia’s bail system from one that is based on wealth to a fairer and more effective system based on a presumption of release before trial, except in the most exceptional circumstances.

Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society

PAWS is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to saving Philadelphia’s homeless and at-risk animals. PAWS is the city’s largest rescue partner and provider of low-cost, basic veterinary care for pet owners and rescue organizations that cannot otherwise access or afford it. Through its three no-kill shelters, foster care network, and special events, PAWS finds loving homes for thousands of animals each year. PAWS is working to make Philadelphia a no-kill city where every healthy and treatable pet is guaranteed a home.

American Civil Liberties Union

Whether it’s achieving full equality for LGBT people, establishing new privacy protections for our digital age of widespread government surveillance, ending mass incarceration, or preserving the right to vote or the right to have an abortion, the ACLU takes up the toughest civil liberties cases and issues to defend all people from government abuse and overreach.

National Police Accountability Project

National Police Accountability Project

National Police Accountability Project (NPAP) is a 501(c)(3) organization and a project of the National Lawyers Guild, which was founded in 1937 as the first racially integrated national bar association. In 1999, NPAP was created as a non-profit to protect the human and civil rights of individuals in their encounters with law enforcement and detention facility personnel. The central mission of NPAP is to promote the accountability of law enforcement officers and their employers for violations of the Constitution and the laws of the United States.
