ASAP! Thank you all for working with the quick turn around time.
As you all already know, Matt and I are in medical school and our schedules are not the most flexible. Earlier this January we found out that we have a week off in April that landed during the week of our 1-year mark of being engaged. It felt like fate that such an opportunity would arise and we jumped on it!
We both know this is a major concern for our guests, as it should be! We will not be offended AT ALL if you do not feel safe attending at this time. For those that are considering attending, we are having a very small wedding (re: only 50 invites going out!) and we plan to host the entirety of the wedding outdoors from ceremony to reception. We also ask that all of our guests consider getting a COVID test 48 hours prior to traveling to help keep everyone safe. (Those eligible, we highly recommend getting vaccinated :D) Lastly, the CDC guidelines are ever-changing, but currently, for those traveling to Mexico, it is required that you get a negative COVID test prior to coming back to the US. In response to this many resorts are doing COVID antigen testing onsite with results available within ~30 minutes. As we hear updates on this restriction we will post them here.
The dress code is cocktail attire (suits for men). Please no Hawaiian shirts and shoes are absolutely required even at the beach ceremony. :)
Rehearsal dinner (April 26th) information will be coming shortly.
We are working on room blocks at a couple of resorts (across varying price points) and will get the information to you as soon as possible.
