Helena RussellHelena Russell

Bridesmaid

My name is Helena I’m Liberian and an event designer and coordinator. I love traveling, eating good food, and laughing with good company. I meet Maseray back in 2018 at an international church conference. I saw her at a few services. She was radiant and I knew from a far that she was from the motherland by the way she carried herself and her natural confidence. I knew she had to be my sister. During the 9 day conference we built an inseparable bond. We continued our friendship long distance. There wasn’t a sea, ocean or border that could stop our venting sessions and continuous support for each other. I’m glad to call Maseray my sister and can’t wait for her beautiful union.

Otuonye Victus has been my childhood friend and someone I have always confided in. He is reserved and peace personified. He is not just a friend but a brother someone who will defend you even in your absence. Truly, Victus is a genuinely good man.

I’m pretty easygoing, love meeting new people, and enjoy playing beach volleyball. Our friendship started when I spotted your wife’s name tape and asked if she was Nigerian. She laughed and said no but told me her husband was and introduced us. The rest, as they say, is history.

Otuonye was always the person junior students turned to in high school—smart, resourceful, and always willing to lend a hand. He carried a quiet confidence that inspired everyone around him, so it’s no surprise he’s absolutely thriving in his career now.
