What is the dress code?

Answer

Dress to impress! We'd love to see our guests in formal/cocktail attire. And don't forget your dancing shoes! (Ladies, consider block heels or wedges for the ceremony space, as it will be on the lawn)

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 12th so we can plan accordingly. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, our ceremony will take place outside on the lawn. Please note there will be minimal shade, so we recommend dressing accordingly and bringing sunglasses or a fan if you'd like. The reception will be a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces. Our seated dinner will take place indoors, and the rest of the evening’s celebration—dancing, drinks, and fun—will flow between both areas. In case of rain or extreme weather, the ceremony will be moved indoors. We’ll keep guests updated via our wedding website leading up to the day if any changes occur.

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 in the afternoon, so please arrive 15–30 minutes early to find your seat and get settled.

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes! There will be parking at the venue with an additional overflow lot in the back.

What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

Let us know in your RSVP if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies—we’ll do our best to accommodate!

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We’d love to celebrate with all your loved ones, but due to space limitations, we are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you've received a plus one they will appear under your name when you officially RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Are there any hotel blocks or nearby accommodations?

Yes! The Inn at Middletown is a 9 minute drive from the Mansion—mention our wedding to get the group rate. More lodging options and links can be found on our Travel & Accommodations page.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We’re having an unplugged ceremony, which means we kindly ask you to put phones and cameras away and be present with us in the moment. Don’t worry—our photographer will capture everything!

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do! While our celebration is designed as a fun night out for grown-ups, we understand that arranging childcare isn’t always easy. Children are welcome if needed, but if you’re able, we encourage you to take the night off and enjoy a kid-free evening with us. To help keep things manageable, we’re only able to accommodate children between the ages of 2 and 12. If your child is 13 to 20, they’ll be listed on your invitation if they’re invited. If you’ll be bringing little ones, our RSVP form will have a spot to include their names and meal choices. Thanks so much for understanding—we really appreciate it!
