We’re getting married!

In 2020, right in the middle of COVID, we were both single and hoping to meet someone. Throughout the chaos, the world happened to align and we met on Hinge! We started talking and getting to know each other, and since meeting in person wasn’t an option at the time, we found creative ways to connect. We went on virtual museum tours and did other fun online activities making the best of a strange moment in time!

Once some COVID restrictions were lifted, we were finally able to plan our first in-person meet up. We went hiking at Sixteen Mile Creek, and of course my dog Lucky came along too. It was important to me that Lucky approved of him, and thankfully they hit it off right away!

Friday Harbour is our special spot. Spending weekends up there together and creating more memories made it our safe haven. It's where we spent a lot of time really getting to know each other. On June 25th, 2021, we were enjoying some stargazing on the rooftop and as if this moment wasn't perfect enough, Eric asked me to be his girlfriend.

Eric planned a special surprise in Orlando, Florida while we were on a trip with some of our friends. He chose a beautiful spot by a waterfall and got down on one knee. I of course said yes, and just like that it quickly became a beautiful night to remember.
