We’re getting married!

Maryssa and Cody met one fateful night June 12, 2018 at Jimmy Moore Park. Cody was Maryssa’s younger brother, Bryce, coach. He walked up to Maryssa said “hi! I’m Cody Kammerdener”, then proceeded to enthusiastically shake Maryssa’s hand (it’s a running joke to this day). From there they talked about anything and everything. Time flew whenever they were together and on July 2, 2018 they started dating. Maryssa was the first to tell Cody she loved him first and Cody agreed saying “you make me so happy, make me feel cared for and safe and you’re all I can think about.” In April 2019 they moved into their first home together, a little 1 bedroom 1 bathroom that they loved because it was theirs and they were proud. 2 months later Cody surprised Maryssa and they brought home their first baby, a 5 week old furball kitten that Maryssa named Mowgli Mae Kammerdener. A month after that Maryssa started working full time and hated the idea of leaving Mowgli by herself all day so they went and adopted a 6 week old baby furball that Maryssa named Bagheera Kammerdener. A happy family of 4, Cody and Maryssa were building the life they always dreamed of, while still remaining in love and supporting eachother despite the growing pains. Cody knew there was still something he wanted to do so he saved and saved for something big and sparkly. On December 6, 2019, Cody took Maryssa to Disney World (her favorite place) for the weekend as a “late birthday celebration”. On December 7, 2019, one week after her 21st birthday, Cody took Maryssa to the Magic Kingdom at 8:00am in the morning, walked up the grand staircase of the Magic Kingdom Mainstreet Station railroad where he surprised her with all of her closets friends. Then, Cody got down on one knee in front of all their friends and proposed to the love of his life. The rest is history and although their life is not perfect they lived happily ever after.
